My name is Elijah Taylor and I am currently a senior at Sam Houston State University. Currently I am studying education as I prepare to become a 4th Grade Language Arts Teacher. My hobbies include exercising, reading, and spending time with family. I began writing poetry in the Fall of 2018. My first poem publication was in the Spring of 2020, by the Beacon at Sam Houston State University. The poem is entitled “A Bottle for My Emotions.” I am the author of As Life Happens and also a Spoken Word Artist.
